We booked really last minute after losing another reservation and the We4Kenya team accommodated us perfectly!
Being our second time in Amboseli, we were really impressed by the service and the exclusive location that's really close to Maasai villages. Also very closely located to the Kimana gate into the Amboseli National Park for access during our morning game drive 😊
They offer staying guests an inclusive tour to a local village at no extra cost. We bought some lovely hand made jewellery from the women and learnt about quite a bit!
Finally, enjoyed the very tasty and affordable meals served- made from fresh ingredients grown in their garden!
Very good
Perfect place to camp. The whole staff is very friendly and helpful but Wilson and David were really helpful in my self driving from getting me there to helping me plan a route onward. The only negative is that it is hard to find by yourself but they will gladly meet you if you have service to call. Great family style meals and clean bathrooms. Would stay here again.
A nice homely place. I fell in love with the bees!
Fantastic stay, very friendly people. Sincere personal contact. Good food, nice accommodation. Organised all our trips, including very interesting motorbike tours in the neighborhood. No unnecessary luxury, but the real Kenya. The impressive Amboseli wild park is close by.
Evelyn, who’s Dutch and her husband, Wilson, who’s Maasai, have a real good thing going at We4Kenya, their camp nearby Amboseli.
It’s a quiet, comfortable, and well-maintained place. Our cabin was perfect for the three of us, including a huge bed for Kim and I, we enjoyed dinner by the fireplace, and the staff is particularly fantastic. We also enjoyed the at night are the distant cries of farmers yelling at elephants trying to break into their crops.
Prices are high compared to the rest of Kenya, but compared to other safari camps it was a very good value. Plus they’re consistently busy—so busy they haven’t bothered to translate their Dutch website into English because they can't handle more people! That's a good thing, since you’ve got a high chance of hooking up with others to share on the extravagant cost of hiring a guide and truck to take you through the park.
I also owe them big time for shipping my jacket and Kindle back to me in Nairobi after I stupidly left them behind. What a miracle that they made it to me!
Along with drinking camel milk and Maasai wine, hanging with the coolest captain in Lamu, and others, We4Kenya was one of the best experiences of our stay in Kenya. For more info check out our site, The Unconventional Route.
Awesome camping site and lodge. The Mt kulimanjaro view is amazing. The hosts are the best. Great people Thanks guys for the weekend out
The best place to be ever, good people, good location, good services, good accommodations. I Felt in love with.
I advice that don't miss to be there ;)
Evelien, Wilson and Peter are the perfect hosts. They offer a unique combination of Western comfort and immersion in the local culture. After spending only 2 days with them, we feel like we've experienced weeks of Kenya. Highly recommended for those who want to experience safari & culture outside of the mass tourism.
Very nice and cosy affordable place: we spent a weekend with 4 friends and we really enjoyed the accommodation and food ! If you go to Amboseli go check this place you ll not be disappointed !
