Very quiet and good affordable food and drinks.
It may have been some time since my last visit, the memories still linger, vivid and strong. thank you for a truly auspicious evening, Crab to die and die again for. and the most beautiful desserts (even had my name written in chocolate ), exceptional amazing , authentic East African service. thank you for a magical once in a life experience !!! hope you still around when I can afford round #4.
Poor service. A very bad uncaring waiter.. Bad experience
Great restaurant, with atmosphere and taste.
Great food especially the fish selection!
Warm, cosy restaurants. Undebateably the best seafood joint in my opinion. The decor gives off a warm relaxing vibe, almost romantic. Great service. The prices are a bit "dig deeper" into your pockets but in the same breath totally worth it. For seafood I'd suggest having the platter, it comes with all types of seafood on it so you can sample a little of each. Loved my time there.
The band on Friday, the atmosphere... Always a good time.
Peter mputhia you are an excellent cook.
This is not the Tamarind eatery. ..rather the KENYA MEDICAL TRAINING COLLEGE, KAREN CAMPUS. By accepting to label this place as such, Google has contravened laws, misappropriated public assets and, most vile of all, mislead the public who depend on them for reliability. Google should be sued for this infringement.
Having said that, I reserve the right to reviww my review!! N in my"reviewed review", I think I, n the public at large need to cut Google some slack. Well they haven't necessarily corrected their mistake, but they've at least responded to me. I will entirely change my review after they've corrected their error.
Nice serene place. Enjoyed the service, food and drinks.
A very pleasant experience. Waiting staff genuinely know the menu and can advise you with the expertise of a somellier.
What you get here is very good food (4 out of 5 stars - but I'm a French cuisine fan so it has a lot to live up to), but the excellence is in the waiting staff - they are actually happy to see you (a truly Kenyan trait) as opposed to French waiting staff who can be off-putting.
Check it out! You will not be disappointed. I will be going back.
