I think this is the most authentic Japanese Restaurant in Nairobi with a Japanese chef too. We loved it!!
    You gotta try it.

    Food is excellent.
Japanese chef n all staff are very kind.
Except only one Kenyan woman who seemed a hall manager.

She was awful enough to show arrogant attitude n not to hide her unpleasant countenance to innocent customers while taking an order n request of EAT OUT discount.

We lost our tastes for wonderful food.
I wonder what her matter was.
That is only shame of this restaurant.

    Unimaginable in Japan.

Delicious. Try the pork pancake. Lovely diverse menu, if you're looking for cheat day food, comfort food or just a different experience. On Sunday you can get massage with your dinner. Well worth it. One of my favourite places in Nairobi.

It was my first time trying Japanese food. This place looks awesome, the air is cool, I felt so relaxed. The service was excellent from the door to when you leave their prices are very fair. As for the food, we ordered the octopus soup for staters, then we had the salmon sushi and Cheka noodle soup for mains. I personally felt the food was an acquired taste, it would take some getting used to. I didn't like the seaweed taste and it was in everything. We also had their homemade ginger ale, amazing!!! And the sake!!!! Loved it!!! Overall great experience!

The soysauce noodles were amazing. The ambiance is relaxed and staff are friendly.

Menu prices are pretty good, you can get something filling for between 500 and 1000. The shochu cocktails are delish at 450 a glass.

I liked the green tea and the arrangement of furniture and scenery. The menu has also been translated to English with a variety of options. Looking forward to visit in the future.

I was disappointed on the food honestly, food is in kiddy portions and quite basic.
A little pricey for its quality.
    Great staff though

The only Japanese Restaurant owned by a true Japanese so I've heard, wanted to try Japanese cuisine and I was not disappointed. The service was great, the welcome impressive and the waitress was conversant with the menu. The Sake was really good, I'll be going back to enjoy some Sake and I truly loved the soap noodle. I surely recommend this to anyone wanting to enjoy some authentic Japanese cuisine.
    Thank you.

Great little Japanese restaurant. Well decorated with a nice terrace at the back. The sushi selection is limited, but that's not a problem. The restaurant real speciality here are warm dishes: rice balls, noodles, sizzling griddle pans, tempura, etc. Order multiple dishes and share with friends!

More than half the meals on the menu could not be ordered on account of a lack of the main ingredient(s).
We also couldn't get a cap of hot water (after spending a small fortune at the restaurant) because apparently they don't offer anything for free.

Sushi and Sashimi servings are small. They fill you up with egg-roll, pasta salad, steamed rice and miso soup to trick you into believing their portions are generous.

Having just moved from Japan to Nairobi, I can say that it's not Japan-delicious, but it's still very good, and quite possibly the best Japanese food in Kenya. The atmosphere is also good and the staff are up to par.
