Awesome place. Serene and at the same time leaves one feeling royal. The rooms are super huge and comfy. Both the twin beds and the executive rooms. The food is also delicious and the best part is the swimming pool that goes around the hotel and into the ocean

Great place! Very spacious rooms and very helpful staff who are always eager to help despite a mix-up with our booking during my first visit.

Same stellar service on my second visit though maintenance of rooms can be improved. Declined somewhat from my previous visit.

The food is however everything I expected it to be and would definitely come back again.

My wife and I went there for lunch. The grounds and the hotel are quite lovely and it's a wonderful place to have a walk through the complex. The open air bars and restaurant are very charming, and the service is very good. I had the lamb chops, and though they seemed a little bony they were quite delicious and I ended up being full by the end of the meal. My wife had the catch of the day (redsnapper) and said the fish was also quite good. Visitors from outside the hotel should know that there is a $20 per person minimum order.

We just had a large family reunion with over 60 of us at Swahili Beach. I could not recommend it more highly. The rooms are gorgeous, service impeccable and meals and cocktails were fantastic. Thank you Swahili Beach Hotel for ensuring that we had a wonderful family reunion!

A very nice hotel with a nice view of the ocean. Beautiful and clean beach though I would not call it a five star. Maybe the hype was too much and I expected more. Irony is that in spite of the spacious rooms They were stuffy. I could forgive that because of the humidity.
The bar has a nice selection of wines and cocktails but pricey. I give it four stars with five star prices

The rooms are very spacious and very interesting design. The hotel staff from reception to chefs very friendly, and made us feel at home. The hotel architecture is something to marvel at and we enjoyed the cascading pools. We had a great time at Swahili.

had a great time. its quiet, uphelds the swahili culture with its buildings and rooms just as the name suggests. has a great view of the beach. many large pools and very spacious rooms.

The rooms are beautiful. The resort is beautiful. Come in the off season and the place is all to yourselves, and the temperatures in August-September are wonderful. The beach is amazing. Have a massage facing the beach. The staff are amazing and friendly. But the service can be slow - don't expect efficiency, but the location won't make you care as much. Food has been above average.

The setting is aesthetically soothing. The architecture and interior design spectacular. The staff though leave much to be desired. I was visiting Diani scouting for hotel accommodation ideas for future stays. I was barely allowed to drive in and when I got to the reception desk, told the hotel was fully booked. I asked whether I could visit, take a tour, sit for a coffee.. this would help me make a decision on accommodation for future trips?get a feel if this could be the right place for me and I was was denied! Never in my life have I felt this unwelcome in a hotel setting! Staff were arrogant and simply short sighted. This experience effectively scraps Swahili off from my short list.

Swahili Beach still ranks among my favourite hotels in the world. We have stayed twice before and this time did not disappoint. A warm welcome is assured, as is the smooth check in procedure. Our superior room was spacious, clean and perfectly appointed. The pool area remains a thing of beauty, although I would have liked more attentive poolside service for towels and drinks.
We stayed half board and both the breakfast and dinner buffets were great. On our first evening, dinner was outside with a live band which was a magical experience.
The restaurant staff continue to be friendly, helpful and efficient.
One small point for the hotel itself - be sure to maintain the upkeep on the exterior of the buildings, some are starting to look a little shabby which in future could detract from the overall luxury feel.
There is no doubt though, that next time we are in Kenya, we shall be back.

Amazing place. From the food, hospitality, big rooms and good furniture, artitechure of the place, vegetation and big pool. And it is affordable compared to what you get. Better than many north coast hotels
