One reviewer said this place has the best pizza in Nairobi. Another said that it's at least worth a second chance to visit. I'm not sure I completely agree with the two. I was excited to come here for pizza, as I'm on the hunt for the best pizza in Nairobi. They had a fair amount of options, both veg and non-veg. I ordered a non-veg and a lemonade. The non-veg wasn't anything special, neither good nor bad, which is why I can't even remember the name of the actual pizza I ordered and am just calling it 'non-veg'. I was enjoying the lemonade until halfway through it, one of the few flies hanging around our table decided to jump to its death in the glass. Once I asked the waitress if it was possible for me to get a new one, she explained that the glass had to be untouched for me to get a new lemonade. (Mind you, this was a big glass only half empty.) So just be cautious of the flies. Service was the typical sleepy attitude of most Nairobi eateries, thus the 3 stars. The interior is pretty nice, the seating is good. They even have a bakery, and an extensive breakfast and drink menu that looks good.

One star and I'm being generous. Came in for a coffee and a bite and it was horrible. The black forest cake is barely edible, the coffee is weak. And this after terrible service last time and a burnt pizza when we ordered for a delivery. It will be a long time before anything they make nears my mouth again. And don't even get me started on the flies!

Small neat space especially for weekdays when you need a quick bite when at the office or in between meetings. Has a great variety for breakfast, lunch and on the go snacks. Great chill ambience as well

Great food, super nice service, beautiful out doorish dining room - except it gets a little smokey sometimes. Treats could be more sweet (need better recipes)

As a certified pancake expert (seriously :D), I hereby award Spring Valley Oven as the best eat-out restaurant in Nairobi with the best pancakes, so far.

Located in a nice quiet place, with good internet and timely waiters

Great place to eat. The food is lovely and the ambience and wait staff are decent as well. It can get a bit cold in the night. They also have a happy hour from 2-6 on cocktails which is superb.

Spring Valley Oven has a lovely atmosphere, great food (especially the Pizza) and amazing service.
Parking can be an issue in the evening, but it's worth.

This spot is for a fact one of Nairobi's little secrets. Tucked away in serenity, the food is amazing. Pretty fresh, healthy choices from the bakery too.

Great food for the Westerner. I have not found a better pizza in Nairobi yet. Burgers are also good. The atmosphere is relaxed here or they also deliver. Monday night - Burger Special Tuesday Night - Pizza Special

Beautiful and tranquil, could be another name for this place. Their pizza is arguably the best in Nairobi, thin crust and well prepared toppings each bite will have you begging for more. There is ample parking most of the time and their seating areas are comfortable and airy.
The only down side is the adjacent petrol station that makes parking a nightmare once in a while. Generally, i would recommend this place for anybody looking for a bite to eat with family any day of the week.
