For a clamping and wild life viewing experience you can not beat the Sentinel Mara Camp. It sets right on the edge of the Mara river which is full of of hippos and crocodiles. The camp uses 3 Massi drivers who speak excellent English and know the land and have excellent knowledge of the animals.

Let me start by saying its no surprise to see this place has such high scores and people speak so highly of it!
I loved everything about staying at the Sentinel Mara Camp! The location, the arrangements, but most importantly the staff! They really personalized my experience. From the time I contacted Sentinel Mara Camp and gave my available dates, Sonya began working with me to personalize my trip.
The easiest way to get to the camp is to fly but there are other ways to get there such as a scenic 4-6 hour drive (so I'm told). Seeing the countryside would be nice but I flew and Sonya also took care of the hassle of booking my flights.
Duncan and Joel picked me up from the airstrip and I enjoyed a quick game drive while driving to the camp. Within minutes of landing I saw so much wildlife!
As we pulled up to the camp, nestled in the wooded area along the Mara River, Minnie and her wonderful staff waited to greet me. She is the most thorough hostess I've ever met! She introduced me to the staff and the attendant, Jacob, that would be assisting me with anything I needed in my tent. She also introduced me to Morombi (sorry if i messed up the spelling), one of the Masai Warrior also at the camp.
We later sat down for dinner where I met the owner, Peter, and we had great conversations about politics, life, and family. Truly a genuine person and someone you could spend hours chatting with.
Over the next few days Duncan and Joel took me on several game drives where they personalized my experience by finding out what I've seen, what I haven't seen, and what I wanted to see Rhino(s)! (but they managed my expectation appropriately because there are so few of them and we couldn't find one) That just means I'll have to come back!
I also met some wonderful tourists, like me, while at the Sentinel Mara Camp; Naina and James were from the UK and we quickly became friends.
There's no telling what you'll find once your journey begins at the Sentinel Mara Camp. Choosing the Sentinel Mara Camp should be an easy decision for anyone to make and it certainly will be for me and my family in the future!
Great job Peter & Wendy (whom I didn't meet) and thank you for such a memorable visit! Keep it up! ;-)

It's a romantic place to stay, the view outside your tent is beautiful. It is in the woodlands where the elephants, impalas and giraffes are. It's also views the Mara River so you get an early wake up call from the hippopotamus. The chef prepare really good, delicious food, the salad dressing is what you would love 😘they have a picnic breakfast when you are on safari the Maasai guides to make sure you see all animals in your safari
