Beautifully remote, in the middle of wilderness. Incredibly peaceful place where you can hear and see the animals like nowhere else. Sala’s camp is uniquely designed where you have the main tent (the most luxurious tent I have ever seen) where the meals are served and there is an indoor fireplace for perfect evenings.
You stay in huge tents with super comfortable beds (hot water bottle waiting for you when you finally retire). I wish I could have a bathroom like the one I had in Sala’s. A view to Sand river where one can spot giraffes crossing and other animals. Or you can walk int he river - quite unfortgettable.
The staff is just there for you, looking after you, just being there whenever you need them.
Evenings by the fireplace facing the river with crickets and lion roars. Magic. Dream come true.
Food is beautiful.
Safaris - I was so lucky - I think I saw all the animals that live there including cheetah, lions, elephants, giraffes, wilderbeast, zebra oh the whole lot! And the hippos!
