  Best place in kakamega area! Hotel what looks like a museum surrounded by beautiful park and rain forest. Many monkeys jumping around and birds. Food is excellent. No entrance fee but they like if you order at least lunch, what is about 20$.
  Very unique part of Kenya. Often raining. Not so hot. Very peaceful and calm.
  Love this place! Must visit.

  Be careful if booking this property through an online source. They will say that you don't have a reservation, and if rooms are still available you will be made to pay again, even if you have already paid through the online platform. This happens often and the lodge doesn't seem to be bothered.

  Best place ever for meditation and rejuvination. Dont just show up, call in advance and book or you won't be let in. Its a Christian place,no alcohol is served. The cottages are awesome. There's a nature trail just by. Its in the middle of kakamega forest
