Its a good place to be. You get to enjoy some good oceanic breeze plus swimming in the ocean. Its a public beach so 100% privacy and security is not guaranteed since there a lot of people especially on the weekends.

The place is quite interesting since waters for Indian ocean sometimes vacates leaving some white animals called crabs on a very soft white sand only to secure themselves in the holes they dig on these sands.

I want to be here! Very good public beach for family and friends. You could do a picnic there and swim the whole day. Food and drinks are sold in small kiosks along the shore. You could even spend the night lying on the sand and listening to good music. Coffee and tea being hawked in flasks every other 5 minutes. He breezeoh my God I want to be here!

You will get everything hereif you forgot a bath suit, there is someone selling it or leasing it! Boats for hire to access the Marine Park but you need your negotiating skills at hand to avoid a ripoff! Locals also sell yummy snacks along the way to the beach!

This is the most popular beach in Mombasa, it is highly accessible due to its location close to the main road. It is always active and usually over crowded during the Christmas holiday, if possible avoid it and look for nearby beaches like the Nyali and Mombasa beach.

A great point to have a dip in the ocean. Shallow enough for kids and beginners too. It however gets extremely crowded in the evenings and on holidays, but is a great place to meet and make new friends. Be careful though, not everyone has good intentions.

The place may not be very ideal for everyone but it is a beach in a strategic place, a good place to swim and also has boat rides available at a reasonable fee. And for those who love crazy awesome stuff like surfing good news for you it is available.

Opportunity to take a boat ride and see the rift life. Large parking, local transportation access. Local food and outdoor sitting areas with bars.
Beware of the Beach boys and hustlers if your a foreigner. The beach and parking area needs to be cleared of rubbish

Has different activities throughout the year.

Very safe despite few incidences of pick pocketing.
