Beautifully kept rooms self contained. The owner and his staff are very accommodating and polite. The food was good and includes a bar. Good for large groups and private getaway.

Excellent place for a short getaway. Service is great! The people are kind and helpful. Great view of Mount Kenya. Wonderful art inside. Affordable meals (7/10 -price range). Facilities are good. There is a good chilling place around with natural sounds, makes you feel in touch with nature.

Amazing place for peace and quiet, it's well hidden and they have exquisite art collection. If you want to spend some time alone away from everything, this is the place. Plus you get to take nature walks along the river to find meaning

Awesome place to go. The staff are amazing and the chef makes delicious food. I loved staying in the family room. The rates are also good, not over priced like most joints in Nanyuki.

Went to Penguin house spontaneously (without pre-booking) and staff was very friendly and helpful! We stayed one night. Really fresh rooms in cottages and a cozy main-house where we had some drinks by the fireplace in the night. A nice gesture was that staff prepared the bed with a warm pillow/waterflask so that the bed was nice and warm when going to bed. Great food also!
