The food was allright and the waiters were friendly. What ruined our experience was the arrogant manager who completely disrespected his staff in front of us. That's no way to run a business in any country.
Prices are fair. The lamb chops could have been better. So as the wild mushroom soup. The tuna and sesame would have been better if the former was fresher. Great team. I enjoyed the atmosphere
Superb food and excellent service. Watch out for the mozzies and expect low light levels as tables are candlelit. Would come again.
Italian restaurant with great interiors with soothing green plants. Had a vegetarian pizza which was great too. Tables are lit with candles. Flipside is that you need to be just covered enough to avoid mosquito bites!
This is one of the best seafood restaurants in Nairobi, set in the heart of Kilimani. This Italian cuisine and wine house also has one of the best pizzerias in the city and if you are looking for a nice, serene place to dine, this is definitely your place. The chef is attentive to detail and always takes his time to deliver the best of any of the meals in their menu.
It is a mid-range price restaurant, with meals starting as low as $10 and they have wines from $30 by the bottle. They also serve wines by the glass in generous potions . If you want to party a little or smoke some hooker, they have a bar next door (shared parking, so within the same compound) with lots of music and entertainment. Also a good chance to mix with locals if you are visiting. I would recommend you try this on a Friday or a weekend night, it will probably get you partying past hours you intended to.
All in all, this is a place that delivers ambience, great food, great wines and definitely great service. I totally love it and would recommend it anytime to my friends or anyone else looking for a great place to dine. Definitely a 5 star rating from me.
Pizza was good for late lunch. Sitting lay out is well thought out with outdoor and indoor options. However, our service staff was unprofessional and seemed disinterested & annoyedhow do you give me attitude when condiments are part of table settings especially olive oil, vinegar and pepperdefinitely recommend hospitality (re)training. No tip earned. Then, the pungent smell of sewerage welcomed us as we drove into the yard and car parkyikes! Questionable hygiene? Please look into this. By the way, it would be great to have a footnote such as ' Kindly take note that prices in menu are NOT VAT Inclusive'. I could go onbut hopefully my second visit may redeem. (16 October 2017).
Best Italian food, great crowd and live band
Great ambience. Great food. The bill doesn't match the menu, however. Carry some extra cash if you have to go.
Service was a little slow. They didn't have what we wanted from the wine list but it's a nice place to enjoy a quiet evening with great food.
Nice food. I would consider it an upscale place
Great ambience and seating both in and out doors. Also great food options especially the pasta dishes
Service was average. The waiter wasn't too friendly. Not sufficient desert options available. The food was very good though.
The good: The atmosphere and service are very good. There is also a gelato shack on the property if you just want a nice snack. The pizza (I tried a sausage pizza) was very good - worth getting.
The bad: The pasta may be home made, but they're not very good at it. I had the tagliatelle and it was mushy. The mushroom sauce had salt as its primary flavor. I have heard the risotto is better but I haven't tried it.
Italian food and good for special occasions. Great wine and pizza s. Weekend live music. Average service level. Great lighting in evening.
Very good food and nice ambiance for couple
Just make sure you have reservations on a busy day. We went without one and regretted all.the way. But they apologised
The ambiance is great, service is a little bit slow but the food makes up for it.
Excellent Italian cuisine. And the atmosphere is very chilled out and family friendly.
