I loved this place! Had a really good time with friends. It was everything the site, the sights, the sounds, the surroundings On a serious note, the place is serene. It drizzled and dried, the food was cooked on order, the tents are spacious (single/multi), it was really quiet, if you're into that
Affordable as a group. Roads can be tricky when it rains 💪

Great campsite, personnel too.
Has good views, approx 2hrs 30min drive from Nairobi. Has lots of people visiting, so the camp feel is arrive. Good hide out place for a weekend.

i love camping. Thia place has another taste to it. wake up to see the hippos. if you are lucky a monkey will sit with you. With the food you get fresh from the lake fish. Ride with the birds who i think were flamingoes.. Its just a great place.

O goodness! If you need a different planet out of planet earth.where you can immerse yourself into the heart of nature, then this is the place to be.

The hippos, zebras and giraffes will keep you company through the night, while the cheeky monkeys will share your breakfast.

Well, if you ever lucky to watch the sun rise, you may want to extend your holiday by a month.

They provide clean and comfortable gear at an affordable rate of Ksh3500 per night for double occupancy. The staff are friendly and efficient. Ask for Wilson, he's a champ. The view of the lake is amazing at sunrise and sunset. A great getaway plan, whether alone, with a romantic partner, or friends and family.

Beautiful campsite, lots of wide open space. Hippos can be seen basking in the lake. The restaurant interior could use some work.

Very nice location and picturesque views. Beyond that the service is not on point. When I was there only one lavatory block had hot water, my tent was broken into as I was sleeping(sliced with a razor) and my shoes and car keys were stolen. All the management cared about is who was going to meet the cost of the damaged tent, I had to break into my car to be able to start it and they didn't even apologize leave alone meet the costs resulting.

Calm and serene camping area. Relatively inexpensive and right next to Lake Oloiden. Hippos can be seen in the evenings.

This camp site is amazing and a refreshing getaway from the city. The green lawn is wonderful and provides a lush setting for camping. The sites are spacious and located right next to the lake, with an electric fence protecting campers from the wandering hippos. The restaurant is not great, so I would recommend bringing your own food. Also be aware of the vervet monkeys. They pestered us for hours at our site and continued to steal food. Bring some sort of deterrent and make sure to hide your food well.

24 years after leaving Kenia, i got hungry of an adventures trip. I chose Kenia cause i was born here and i didnt get the opportunity in my teen times and didnt have means. My dream came true in 2016. My journey started from Mombasa in a Boot with thunderse and lightenings, tuktuk s, bus to Nairobi. Arriving Naivasha, iknew i wanted to see Oloiden campsite cause i did my homework and explored thru the website. Arriving there and seeing the place, was just wow. It was one of the most beautifull places ive seen in my life. My wish is to get there again, this time with my husband and kids for a marriage vow. That place inspires me a lot.

Perfect location for camping with family or friends. The staff are courteous and really helpful.

There's hot water shower, all washrooms have tissue paper (very important).

Reasonable prices at the bar.

Security is awesome

I love this place! Quiet, gorgeous and by Lake Oloiden. Perfect place to relax. You can bring your own camping equipment or choose to hire the ones available. Clean washrooms and bathrooms, separated by men and women. Yes it can satisfy the "Glamper" needs. Nice food available from their 'restaurant'. Boat rides around the lake are available. Friendly staff present. Dont forget the bug spray for the evenings and a hoodie for the cool lake breeze.

Major props to Andrew the camp manager. Very helpful.

Place has an awesome atmosphere, beautiful lakeside scenery, helpful staff. It is right next to Lake Oloiden and a great choice for group overnight and outdoor excursions. Would highly recommend the place.
