The pool is big, it is beautiful, it is in the middle of nowhere and warm water. It is not a deep pool, so it is nice for a relaxing swim. The water feels slippery at first(due to the salt) but you get used to it. There are also Life guards on duty on all sides so yeah.
There are no exact signs to guide you to the spa so you had best have your Maps ready.
The food at the restaurant is good.

Almost had the entire place to ourselves. Awesome for a family day out. But sucks that you have to pay for KWS Park fees

I had a dip in the hot pool and my skin is still thanking me for it. Had Ugali and some wet fried meat at the restaurant which I loved after a hike through Hell's Gate National Park gorges all thanks to Touchwild Tours and Travel

The spa is naturally heated water. The place has some funny smell from the gases released beneath. The place is like 500 m from hellsgate national park so you have to pay park entrance fee then pay for the spa even if you don't intend to visit the park. They also don't allow people who haven't paid in even if they don't intend to swim so plan accordingly. Not sure they serve meals as I didn't see anyone eating.

Amazing natural spa, with a very scenic view.very spacious pool ,the baby pool too.pool really has no deep end which works well if you want to just soak not swim.
they should put signboards on the roads to guide tourists there.
restaurant food is very average and a bit overpriced for the quality and quantity.
Lifeguards are on duty full time which is very commendable;however there is no signage indicating pool has steps(3) as you enter with very sharp edges.
The changing rooms are spacious but with inadequate lighting and not enough benches.

The thermal spa water is amazing. The price is a bit over the top (400 kenyans, 1000 for adult residents and 1800 for internationals) especially considering you pay helps gate park fees, too.

Recommended for a day trip out of Nairobi. Natural geothermally heated water. Huge clean main pool. Baby pool. Restaurant not good. Food and drinks from outside not allowed. To access the spa you will first have to pay a KWS fee at the barrier since you are basically entering Hell's Gate National Park. You will have to make an additional payment to use the spa. Sh. 400 per person for locals.
