The staff are the stars in this hotel. They're really friendly and helpful! The hotel is nicely done and easy to move around. I stayed in the garden facing room but still had an ocean view which was a plus. The food is bland and very little variety to choose from. The main restaurant is in the middle of the hotel so all you get to see are rooms
They need to work on their beach front grounds. It's very untidy and unkept. Was very disappointed.response / report this review -

Completely disappointed about how dirty the beach is! It's a hotel's responsibly to ensure that the beach it is linked to should be kept clean! Plastic bottles everywhere! Why would tourists want to come to dirty beaches?!

I enjoyed every bit of my holiday for one week. They are well organised and good for family. I saw my children only at meal time. Rest of the day they were kept busy and happy.

Nyali Sun Africa is located in Nyali. The hotel is accessible though a taxi ride or personal vehicle would be ideal. They have great services and if one would wish to enjoy greatest attention, then I would recommend off peak season. However, if one would be a boarder even during peak season, you will still enjoy world class services.

It was really a fantastic experience, the hotel crew are very friendly and great in providing nice service. As well the hotel is very close to all places in Mombasa I was using uber and it's doesn't take much time to reach your destination. The beach is beautiful but you are not supposed to go much deep without proper tools as there's urchins, and specially water is going back during the day like after 11 up to 3pm so you can walk deep like 400 meter.

It's a beautiful, elegant hotel. I only attended daily workshops. The food provided was very good.

This beach resort is located in Nyali one of the best areas in Mombasa, it has improved it's services ever since it was acquired by the sun Africa Hotel group brand. The rooms are nice though their buffet meals don't have variety.

Loved this hotel; the newer rooms are exquisite while the older ones could do with an upgrade in the bathrooms and TVs. They still have square aspect ratio CRT TVs! The staff are friendly and helpful to a fault (we as a group had consecutive birthday celebrations and the surprise cakes were on the house without much ado). The animation team is excellent. Overall, a good place to stay.

I have been to Mombasa on several occasions but my First stay at Nyali Sun Africa Beach Hotel redefined what a stay in Mombasa means. From the clean rooms, to the mouth watering food to the excellent service from the team I have fallen more in love with Mombasa just because of you. If you are planning to visit Mombasa, try Nyali Sun Africa Beach Hotel located along Maybe Road and you will have to extend your stay without knowing. Some Say "Welcome Home Away from Home" Nyali Sun Africa says "Welcome Home". 5 Stars for You guy's! Keep on Keeping On and soon you will be the Kings of the hospitality industry.

It is in such a perfect location within easy reach from the Mombasa town and close by the beach. It has a big pool but we are more of beach people so we enjoyed walking down the clean breezy sandy beach, swimming and relaxing generally.
The service here is exceptional. From the front lobby to the housekeeping staff to the restaurant staff - every hotel employee that we came into contact with was superb, ever smiling, pleasant, helpful and made us feel welcomed. It must have rubbed off on to the guests who found out we were newlywed and kept congratulating us and being super friendly.
The hotel amenities were well maintained, spacious crisp clean rooms and variety of delicious options for the meals…. Everything was tops!!
Can't say enough positive about this hotel. We will definitely be back.
