The bike stands are too far from the entrance and the elevators are too few. While I was there only 2 were working.
This place has potential, but I didn't enjoy my visit.
But they do have a nice food court and ample parking.
Great place to have a quiet outdoor food court dinner. If you're into the night life, there are plenty of options. Love the Souk Bazaar Supermarket and it's good customer service. Their burger king joint has the best burgers!
Good place, they have a new supermarket Souk, friendly prices and a wider range of selection. Have Halal food and their food court has some really nice meals from Ethiopian to Lebanese.
All Nairobi malls must give us space! I mean like give us atleast enough space to even walk around and breath. And that is what you get at NextGen. This place is a must visit for people passing through Mombasa road. Reason is because of spacious shops and lounges in this place. You will never fill it up. It is quite a nice place compared to other malls. They have been able to attract various leading fast foods brands. I will highly recommend it to anyone looking for a break from the normal shopping experience in Nairobi.
Nice food court with wide variety of restaurants - African, Indian, Ethiopian Continental - worth checking out. Souk supermarket, kids play area, ample basement parking. The many vacant shops take away the warmth.
The mall is beautifully designed, although not quite finished; this is surprising as it has been in operation for a couple of years.
It is spacious and the facilities and amenities one would expect in a postmodern shopping mall have been provided.
It also seems quite attractive judging by how swiftly the dying Nakumatt was replaced in as the anchor tenant of the mall.
There are a few amenities already taken up, a few eateries, bars, chemist, salon etc. There is also a decent kids playing area. Even so, the rest of the mall is quiet.
The mall also comes with apartments on the eastern side. They look quite classy from far and the garden in between the two wings is eye-catching.
The most disappointing part is the unfinished parts of the mall and the dump basement parking with puddles of water all over. Maybe due to the carefree environment, even the guards seem lucklustre about their business.
Finally, the owners of the mall should get serious and realize that business is on, and make the place as attractive as possible.
I enjoy the variety of food options at the food court. The Souk Bazaar store has nice variety of items and pleasant staff. A fairly calm space.
The food court is great, with several options from Indian to Ethiopian to African. Has a surprisingly good pizza joint too - don't go for Dominos. Level 7 Lounge upstairs is the best place to hang out.
Conveniently located has enough food courts to choose from with international cuisine. It could also be a one stop mall depending on what you need from shopping, hairdressing, clubhouse, kids play area and other stores
Lot's of empty shops ,but the food courts are nice ,there is a mini supermarket (Sokor) there is a kids play area. Burger King and Dominos Pizza are good eat outs. The level 7 sport's bar is great too.
A lot of the stores are empty since it's a fairly new mall. Great outdoor food court with loads of activities for kids. Very wheelchair accessible. It's conveniently located along the highway. The Domino's and Burger King are great but the supermarket isn't very well stocked with variety of stuff. The parking machine is very shifty. We've had issues trying to check out when the machine refused to give out change. We had to follow it up with the company and delayed our exit for almost half an hour. It apparently happens very often. Overall a pretty okay place.
The place is good. However, the management needs to consider having more businesses move in. It's getting worse by the day as some close down. It is worth noting that of more businesses set up, it might being in more shoppers. Maybe consider having a discounted price for rented space for a limited time and encourage more businesses to set up
Its well designed mall, ample parking, lifts available, but for now its not very busy but you can find fastfoods stall, dentmind dental center,Nakumatt and a club level -i hear its nice never been
Good place, nice ambience good place for children get away. Good Food available mainly Swahili dishes from the restraunts and secure parking area.
It is yet to be fully occupied but with the opening of Souk bazaar, there is hope for it being such a lively mall. The bar on 6th floor is currently a good reason to visit the mall for those that love roof top views.
The club upstairs is lively. Burger King needs to improve though, the ladies are not all professional. One was specifically rude and unapologetic. Anyway, told the supervisor. I will update again in future.
Only the ground floor is occupied by shops/businesses, upper 7 floors except the top floor is deserted. There seemed to be more employees of the mall than the total customers. However a great place to spend some peaceful time. Great location and adequate spaces. Highlight is the kids zone on its backyard as well as the view the hotel on top floor affords along the parapet.
Everything you need you have got it, the best place to take family relax with the best view of Mombasa road and its environs
It is a tranquil place. Good for getting away from the hustle of the day.
Serene but the drive way to the basement parking is too close to the food court / the children play area. Quite dangerous.
Nice to have such neighbours ..in another few months no need to go any other place. Shops are getting occupied with good class goods. Food court is now organised. Keep it up
The Nakumatt is a definite plus. I've come 3 times but only 3 places are open at the food court. Food from all 3 has been good and fairly priced. Lots of potential! The salon is good, fairly priced and professional too. Liquor stores could do with better stocking though.
