It's a mix of old and new. The new block has many banks and that is a big plus for me. The restaurant on 4th floor is a must visit for everyone I highly recommend this place. Food is unbelievable and healthy Was surprised to get chiropractor services on the old building side and it's so convenient. Exit to the main road though can be frustrating.

Lavington Mall is a nice retreat in an area where there are not so many other shopping malls in the vicinity. Although it's architecture is a bit chaotic it boasts the shops you need of which a well stocked supermarket. Lavington Mall has a good number of bars and restaurants. Also there is a nice coffee shop with good WiFi for meetings and work on the laptop

If you want to stay away from the main malls of Nairobithis one is nice. Has a few restaurants and cafes to check out.
Kengeles Bar- old favorite. Turn up to watch some sports or just enjoy a drink and great music
