Not a good experience. Some rooms are cold and dark, we actually had to switch rooms when we got there. Buffet had very limited choices. Staff was quite helpful but seem overworked. Needs lots of improvement.. No value for your money at all

First of all, every staff was kind to us and served us with discipline. I truly appreciate the thoughts the chef put in each meal - breakfast, lunch and dinner - which was abundant and nutrious.
We stayed in Simba court which has a front, a bedroom and a shower room with toilet. Tembo court has a bedroom and the same restroom. Simba house is mixture of western and traditional architecture and I enjoyed night rains - no leaking btw.
It is close to town; we could easily access other tourism places.
Swimming pool was a little dusty but water was clean without chemicals. There is place for pool party! There are other facilities such as small gym, playground, a bar and bon fire place. We did morning exercise on the 1st floor of restaurant, a large hall.
This is off-peak season, so we had a lot of liberty with the facilities.

This place is expensive for nothing, being off peak season I was charged 60 dollars for a standard room, which was dirty!!!.
- Breakfast was unbelievable!! Raw pineapple and some taste less water melon!!
-The service very poor, I had to wait for 30min before getting the raw pineapple and taste less water melon.
-In my opinion I wouldnt refer any guests to peppercorn holiday resort Because you will not get value for your money!!!!!

A relatively new establishment. Not very good finishes of the facilities but liveable. Ordered mutton choma with roast potatoes and sirloin steak with boiled potatoes. Both came within 45 minutes but the sirloin steak was really not sirloin - very tough meat, well done and plainly presented. I complained about and asked them to remove it, I resigned to the boiled potatoes. Surprisingly despite my rejection of the stake no one came to apologise. Poor unprofessional service. Despite the low price of food the service needs improvement.
