Gari ni TAHMEED
I enjoyed travelling with you. Nice travel agency. But poor wifi on board
Lovely
Atrocious!! Travelled from Dar es salaam to Kampala. First of all, when I booked at their Ubungo office the printer was out of service so I was not issued a ticket but a seat number on a piece of paper. On the day of departure, I was at the Ubungo bus office at 5:30 am as requested. At 5:55 am, a tall man aptly called "Tallu" came to the office and shouted at me and the other passenger "Hurry up, mta achwa". I inquired how I was supposed to carry my two large bags from the office to wherever he was taking us and he said, "Jipange, otherwise uta achwa". After struggling to carry my bags for half the distance, a luggage porter going in the opposite direction offered to help, all this time Tallu kept looking back and shouting "Acha mchezo". Finally, I got into the bus to be welcomed by blaring Bongo Flava music (At 6am in the morning? Seriously)10 minutes into the journey, Another chap called Alex started checking tickets. I explained, that I wasn't issued one because of a faulty printer to which he responded, "When we reach Moshi, go and get one!"
As soon we got to the outskirts of Dar, the bus started stopping to pick up passengers like a dala dala which had many passengers worried about the safety of their property. When I went to have my ticket printed in Moshi, the internet was really slow at the office which delayed the process and delayed me. When I finally got it and returned to the waiting bus, I was greeted by a torrent of loud insults from the drivers, tallu and Alex for being a time waster.
Also, the sockets did not work, there was not enough mineral water for everybody. On arrival in Nairobi, the bus parked a street below their offices so I had to pay a modern coast staff to carry my luggage to their office.
The 'new' bus used from Nairobi to Kampala was in a sorry state. No AC, faulty windows, very little leg room, very uncomfortable seats. On arrival in Kampala, the driver refused to let any one alight at the more convenient location in the center of town (Dewinton Road) even though it was a public holiday and there was no traffic and instead drove everybody downtown to Namayiba Bus Terminal saying "Nimechoka"
In a nutshell, I was shocked most by the completely indifferent customer service by your staff. Almost all the passengers I spoke to and overheard in the bus were in agreement about this. On the other hand, I would like to commend you on your time-keeping which was impeccable. We arrived and departed each destination at the designated time.
Playing loud music because the driver claims he will fall asleep. Worst experience ever
What are phones for if you can't pick up..nktest1!!!!!!
