My wife and i went to Migingo island for our honeymoon. The all inclusive resort on this island was fully occupied by all 130 inhabitants of this island so we resorted to a stay in one of the local airBNB's. What a deception this was! There was no staff and the Dom Perignon was not properly cooled. During our visits we experienced several raids from the mainland and had to turn in multiple Rolexes in order to bribe the robbers.

Unfortunately the speedboat valet service was out of order. And eating rotten fish directly out of the lake was not what we expected when we booked the sushi all you can eat arrangment.

After we went to this island we continued our honeymoon to Puntland and Abyei the most charming and romantic places of Africa.

Because it's a good place business,a dispute island but the fact which remain is that,migingo,ugingo and usingo are Kenyan's island but Uganda head of state trying to grab it from Kenya territory Amazing that Kenyan's head of state is just silent about the issue

Migingo is an island under dispute between kenya and uganda, but the two heads of state are agreeing each other but the civilians are hostile, most the Jaluo. The advice I could give let this island be an accommodation ground for fishermen of uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and others, because all the kenyan, Tanzanian they carry out their fishing activities in uganda waters from migingo and from near by mainland beaches, so they should not mixed their fishing activities or business with politics. Nobody will prosper mixing his /her business with politics. So our dear brothers let us embark on our future business and we leave the issue to the heads of states. Thanks.
