A very nice place. Very close to the game park hence saves you lots of traveling time. You step out of the lodge and you are right into the wild life area. Do not forget to enjoy the view of grassy plains from the porch. Just amazing. At night we could hear the lions' grunts, hums and roars.
Food was good. Cleanliness was good. Staff and service was very nice.
If you are a senior citizen consider reaching here by a small plane. There is a small air-strip nearby.

This was one of the best lodges that I stayed in. It is located on the river and overs great views for the rooms as well as the restaurant area. It is a quick drive to the river and the staff is friendly and helpful. I think they can maybe offer better internet services, but in my situation I was to happy not to have it anyway. The food served here is great with lots of fresh ingredients. The rooms are basic, yet elegant and a fair warning to the unfit, you should book a room close to the main lodge if you are not fit. It is a good climb from the further rooms and you might find yourselves a little short breathed when you rich the top. The longer the stay the fitter you will become :-) The advantage of staying in this lodge is that the traffic is much less here than on the other side of the river - you then have the advantage of a much better sighting position that those on the other side.

Really enjoyed our stay here! Rooms were clean and comfortablegood showers which were very much appreciated after a day out in the bush! Staff were friendly and courteous and the food was good! Loved one of the staff members who would casually walk around the camp strumming some good tunes on his acoustic guitar and creating a lively atmosphere Sitting by the outside campfire, hearing the male lions calling in the distancethe hyenas chuckling and laughingjust awesome! As for the game drives, first class! We saw it allby day 2 we had seen the Big 5.fantastic and quite lucky I suppose! Really enjoyed our stay! Thanks team!

Lovely place to stay with awesome views especially from the main reception area. Staff are friendly and helpful and the meal variety is great. Family-friendly activities/entertainment in the evenings. Rooms are clean with sufficient space; interconnecting family rooms are also available. The lodge is some distance away from the main gate so prepare for your first game drive upon arrival! And it is well worth it! Will definitely make a repeat visit.

Jaw-dropping views from almost every room. Great pool (though too deep for youngsters), friendly staff, good food, and lots of wildlife (look out for baboons - keep your deck doors closed). Conference room could use an update, but overall very well run lodge.

This is one of the best lodges in Kenya I've been too. Extremely scenic. The lodge overlooks the Mara conservancy and you can hear so many cool animal sounds at night!

This is a beautiful Safari property located in the Western side of Masai Mara, a part of the reserve which typically has fewer tourists and vehicles. Mara Serena Lodge has an amazing view over part of the Mara plains and sits close to the famous Mara Triangle. Well worth a visit !
I would point out that you'd likely get a cheaper rate if you booked through a Safari operator based in Kenya - we did our booking with Shoor Safaris Kenya and the rate was lower than what we'd been quoted by our agent in Dubai - and with all meals and taxes included as well. A superb deal for a fabulous safari lodge !
