It's a great place and nice experience of the nature, best customer service,Food was great! Maasai *
(Dickson)he always on patrol and give company at the fire place, though no electricity in that area, and generator runs from 6pm -10pm ,but thanks God for my own big lamp..Thumbs up👍👍👍👍
Nice camp ground, security at night by maasai's and food is good.
Very nice Budget camp..Happy and warm welcoming staff. close to masai Mara Gate
Comfortable tents, friendly staff, good food very accommodative of vegetarians and not very far from the oloolmuttia gate.
A great camp to stay on budget
Value for money and gives u true experience of nature. The limited facilities realize you the true jungle exp! Liked the concept of power cut at 10 pm and the power on at 5.30 am, like military school
Great for a budget stay. Don't expect electricity at all times. The generator only runs for a few hours a day and you will have to go to the dining area in order to access charging points for your devices. We went in expecting little, but found it to be a very peaceful stay.
I didn't expect much considering the low price. Floors were a little dusty, but that's understandable considering the dirt roads. Beds were clean, comfortable and freshly made.
They lost 1 star because of bad washroom conditions. There was no toilet seat, the tiles did not seem to be installed by someone who knew what they were doing, and the ceiling was made of cheap scrap plastic and had holes that allowed mosquitos to get in.
They lost another star becuase the hot water didn't work 2 days in a row and someone had to come fix it which took a while both days which left us in a race agaist the clock to take our showers before the electicity shuts off at 10.
The food was simple but good. I'd suggest bringing some condiments like ketchup, redhot, and honey/syrup.
Great place to stay. Very near to the Masai Mara park gate.
During my 3 days’ safari trip, I stayed in Lenchada Tourist Camp and found it up to the mark. it is a very good camp with all reasonable facilities within a budget deal. Food is good and they are providing everything which is promised. location is very near to Masai Mara park, space between the tents is good and the tents have all necessary facilities and are specious for 2 people. cleanliness is also good in the tents as well in the mess.
It was a decent stay, clean beds. Basic food for dinner, but breakfast was good. Electricity works on a generator twice a day only from 5:30 am till 7 am and 6:30 pm till around 10 pm. So everyone charges their phones and cameras at that time. They could use renovations in the bathrooms plumbing and tiles and toilets and sinks need to be changed as well as electricity issue, use solar power!! It's basically a large tent either 2-3 beds. With an attachment for the toilet room, you go in through the zipped exit side of the tent. There are mosquito nets for each bed. Staff are great and helpful. There will be insects around but you may use insect spray or repellant. Hot water available in shower. As for the masai village tour it costs 10 usd per person, they do a dance and show you thier homes, mud huts.

Pretty decent place. The limited access for electricity could be a little annoying but other than that food was amazing and the shower is hot enough (even tho the water was muddy one of the days).
We were at the campsite from 23rd dec,2016 to 25th dec,2016. we had a great time. The staff were vey welcoming and cooperative. The food was delicious. The chef was very co operative and hats off to him. Our driver Martin was very informative regarding the masai mara. Had a great time with him.
The camp needs to do some serious upgrading which in the long run is going to be beneficial to them only.
The tents need tables and chairs inside.
The bathroom and toilet tile works need repairs.
Invest into solar power so that power is available throughout.
Alot of water is wasted by keeping the taps open to wait for hot water to come out.
Carry out ladscaping to enhance more the beauty of the place.
Once again we had a great time and recommend people to visit the campsite.
lastly the area around all the campsites is an eyesore. The place is littered with plastic everywhere. The local community wihin the area has to educated regarding the menace of plastic.
