Stay here if you’re only interested in a place to sleep. The service was horrendous. We kept requesting for drinking water throughout our stay but never received any. Their cafeteria has good food but we’re always running out of basic ingredients like eggs during breakfast. We had made a booking, arrived late only for the front desk to say that they can’t find our reservation and anyway our room with ocean view had been given out. The whole thing was a mess with no apologies from the management

Visited the place with my family this past weekend we had booked through airbnb. Stayed for 3 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment that was spacious but the showers have low pressure and take a while to warm up,all rooms are air conditioned which is great considering if was very hot.There were no mosquito nets in the second bedrooms,we'd booked for a certain number of people but there weren't enough beddings for the rest we had to incur an extra cost to get bedsheets.The building has a lift and is right next to the public beach which is good for walking in the morning but over crowded later in the day. The pool is not so bad but there was only one poolside bed. After a swim on Friday we ordered some french fries that took over 90 minutes to be ready,wait staff weren't very friendly at all and they were outright rude.

Worst place ever!!! I have never given a review before and this is my first time in my life. I find that it is important that no one else suffers what my family and I had to go through at this place. If I had a chance of giving this poor of a place a NO star I would do it 10,000 times. After being ripped off $480, my family and I were appalled by not only the worst customer service we had experienced but also the place was filled with roaches and black ants inside the apartment. We also had to purchase our own water to drink etc.The guy also verbally abused us when we approached him regarding the place being infested by roaches and ants, he asked us to leave if we didn’t like it. It was either we stuck around for another 3 nights of hell or move out. We moved out that very same day. We asked for our refund as we had paid 4 nights in advance, two weeks prior my flight from Seattle. Please, trust me.

Spent 3 weeks at this resort in August and though it was a beautiful location I would not recommend going to this resort for many reasons. This resort advertises that each unit has wi-fi which is a flat out lie. Everyday the front desk would promise a repair man was coming but in the almost month my family and I were there we did not have internet for a moment in or unit and it worked only at times at the front desk. The showers have no doors causing the entire bathroom floor to get soaked every time you take a shower. The water pressure was the worst I have ever experienced. If you want more than just drops of water the shower would need to be at the coldest temperature and even then the pressure was not normal. The balcony doors did not close completely letting the air conditioning out and bugs in and for those on the lower levels, a safety concern due to the ability for children to slip out or unwanted people to come in. The windows were also not sealed properly leaving one inch gaps between the wall and window also allowing bugs in and the cool air out. We were promised the unit would be cleaned and new towels would be provided every other day. This actually happened about once every 5 days so this was another lie. Bamburi beach was so beautiful but the resort did nothing with beach upkeep. There were no trash cans or employees in charge of cleaning so straws, diapers, napkins, everything you can imagine was in the sand. This resort would be amazing if actual care was put into the logistics of a comfortable residence and management cared. The only saving grace of the resort was the kind and friendly cleaning staff and security (NOT the receptionists). Though when you first arrive the resort is impressive by the time your stay is over you will for sure feel like you've wasted your money.
