ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT.
The hotel is strategically located on top of a hill directly overlooking Lake Nakuru. Its inside the Nakuru National Park so as you drive to the lodge you see various wildlife, however be sure to get inside the park before 6pm before the wardens close the gates to the park. The drive from the entry gate at the park to Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge is approximately 17kms. The hotel has awesome unhindered views of Lake Nakuru from the hotel rooms aswell as from the hotel restaurants and the almost infinity like pool😊. The rooms are super clean and the compound within the lodge is exactly as advertised in the website The staff are friendly and very helpful. There lots of activities to pass time including group games like darts.. Game drives to the picnic sites, bush lunches The rooms do not have television hence you are able to be one with nature.. 👍👍👍

One of the best resorts in Kenya particularly who are enjoying wildlife. This resort is on the top of the hill so you get a good bird eye view. The rooms are huge and specious and the ambiance is too good and rustic.

Very clean, well equipped lodge with perfect view of lake nakuru! Friendly staff, amazing food and nice architecture! The only problem is that the wifi is only available in reception and bar and it’s quite poor!

The Sopa Lodge is strategically located on the cliff overlooking the Lake Nakuru. It has sweeping views of the Lake. The rooms are spacious with good comfortable beds. Food is good and fresh.

Beautiful lodges on the side of a mountain in Lake Nakuru. The lodges each overlook the park and you can sometimes spot a giraffe grazing below. The pool and dining area also overlook the park. They have pretty good food although it gets repetitive.

One of the most beautiful Lodges I have visited! The view of the lake is amazing. The unique decor & layout of the rooms, the friendly & accommodating staff made our stay one of a kind experience, to say nothing of all those animals around, wonderful!!
I will not hesitate to recommend to all our friends & family

SOPA.. beautiful property with stunning views of the lake.. very comfortable rooms.. Great Ambiance.. Food needs more variety however 7/10 For the Chef The staff is friendly and try their best to accommodate all requests.. 8.5 out of 10 is the score of my experience..

Lovely scenery. No one seems to mention the distance to most of the rooms, it is a long walk on uneven bluestones which are badly lit. I have been to three of these lodges the food is the same at all of them and not very good. The internet does not work at any of them. They are very large and cater to the masses, not what you want on this sort of holiday.

Great place to get away. Nice rooms, game drives and a great view of the lake. Good meals. Rooms could use a better Wi-Fi connection, rooms lack televisions. It was ok. New is not automatically good. Food was mediocre. Bed was comfortable. Lots of hot water. Good views. Needs landscaping and a new cook.
