Christian based guest house with splendid meals and amenities. At the guest house, there is a gymn and swimming pool to entertain and relax. The lush green grass and quietness entices you to take an evening stroll as you enjoy the birds chirping in the trees. Every building is built to perfection and spacious. The rooms are good quality, has hot water on demand. You need to use a cab or your own means of transport to reach the guest house and manouver around owing to the large piece of land the guest house is situated in.

Firstly, what this place is like. The rooms themselves are very minimal: no shower curtain in the shower, only bar soap provided, fairly harsh fluorescent lights everywhere, minimal power outlets, but the beds are OK, and there is hot water and electricity, and food provided for breakfast.

The main issue we had was that they gave away the room they had said they reserved for one of the couples in our party. We were a party of 14, but 12 of us arrived on Friday night and 2 arrived on Saturday. Unfortunately when they arrived on Saturday evening, we went to the reception to check them in, and were greeted with a blank stare. The concierge was confused because they don't have a good system for managing room bookings. In fact, at times, the only system they have to know if someone is in a room is to check if the room key is present at the front desk: if it is, they assume the room is empty.

After a few minutes we were able to determine they were fully booked and were not going to have space for the last two members of our party, so we asked if we could get an extra bed put into the living area of our room so our friends could get some sleep (they had been traveling for many hours). The concierge assured us this would not be a problem, so we went to the room and started to get them settled in, awaiting the bed. After 15 minutes or so, with no sign of them, I went to look for the concierge, and found him. He explained that the bed was in someone else's room, and he couldn't wake them by phone or by knocking in their door, in order to get the bed out (!) so there wouldn't be a bed. Finally with the help of the concierge we managed to move an extra bed out of another of our party's room to put our friends to bed. Still, they had no pillows.

In addition, the food at the buffet was mediocre, and there was no WiFi most of the time, even in the lobby.

There was a decently well equipped gym at the back, but that's not really what I look for when I book a hotel.

If you have no other choice, this may still be a decent option for the area, but I would look for other choices before deciding on this hotel.

It is a ways away from Nakuru (20 minute drive) so keep that in mind if you want to be closer to the city centre.
