With traditional braces, struggling to floss and brush in-between brackets and wires can be time consuming and difficult, and if done inadequately, can even lead to tooth decay. Since Invisalign clear aligners are removable, you can continue to brush and floss normally!.

5 effective options to straighten teeth other than Traditional Braces
1. INVISIBLE ALIGNERS Straightening teeth may become a less stressful procedure via invisible aligners. In the process, transparent plastic trays are customized for each patient accordingly.
2. VENEERS Veneers are thin strips made out of porcelain or a similar material. These strips are stained to match the natural teeth around the veneers.
3. RETAINERS Retainers make a great alternate option for the people with minor malocclusion or misalignment of teeth. The dentist will prescribe whether you need to wear them throughout the day or only while sleeping, depending on the malocclusion severity. Also, some patients can wear traditional braces for a specified period, then opt for retainers to complete the straightening of their teeth.
4. LINGUAL BRACES Lingual braces are made of metal and applied on the back of your teeth. This is also a non-visible option, perfect for those who are not comfortable with the idea of traditional braces.
5. SERIAL EXTRACTION Malocclusion typically occurs in teenage years, when multiple teeth erupt in the minimal space, creating unpleasant teeth appearance. In this case, various dentists recommend serial extraction, which is an affordable and effective option. Your dentist tracks the development of teeth. When adult teeth are present near baby ones, the dentist removes the smaller teeth for space.
What’s the bottom line?
If traditional braces do not appeal to you, there are numerous options from which to choose. So, select one and achieve even teeth in no time.
