  Kisumu Impala Park Sanctuary is located in Kisumu town along the shores of Lake Victoria. It's behind Kisumu State House Lodge and a few metres from Kisumu Yatch Club. It has a parking area for those who drive to the park, just outside the entrance. At the gate you will be required to pay park fees for you to be admitted into the park.
  
  Once inside the park, you will notice the contrast from the noise left behind in town. It has the jungle feel. The chirping of birds and the occasional splashing water. The place is clean with litter bins placed conveniently at most spots. There are picnic sites along the shores, with benches. There are variety of animals in enclosures to see from; lions, leopard, cheetah, hyenas, baboons, warthogs, jackals, giraffe and buffalo. Also in the park are free ranging​ zebras, antelopes and monkeys. You could also chose to take a walk along the nature trails and just take in the feeling of being a bush somewhere. Also get to see the old railway tracks.
  
  There are camping tents for hire within the park and you can arrange to acquire one from the friendly warders. It's an ideal place for team building or just taking kids to have fun. There's a canteen within the park where you could buy some snacks. They have very clean restrooms. Sometimes there's a photographer, Dan, who's very charismatic, on standby should you want to capture the moments. However, I'd advice you carry your own packed food. Make a date and have some jungle fun.

  I am kenyan leaving in the netherlands although I still have my kenyan residence the officer wanted me to pay like a non residence. The officer told me Ngugi also pays like a non kenyan. Very disappointed.

  Pleasant natural environment by the lake shoreline with impalas and zebras roaming freely while the aggressive canines are caged. Worth visiting if you are in the lakeside city of Kisumu.

  I loved it. They have a variety of animals. I loved the lions and lionesses. Perfect if you go during lunch hours.
