Very popular with dedan Kimathi University students as its close the learning institution. It has best hostels, nice eateries, very secure and affordable which makes it popular with even non native exchange program students.

Kimathi Student centre or as locally known, "Greens" is very hospitable with great security in the premises. Cooking is not allowed but it actually gets better, there's an affordable cafè which delivers the best dishes around the university 😋😋. The hostel itself is also affordable giving option of single rooms or two individuals in one room.

Kimathi Student Center has rooms with single bed, double deckers, two twin beds, three twin beds, four twin beds,and partitioned rooms for two beds. Enjoy our delicious meals including yogurt, machine prepared and cooked chapatis together with our freshly prepared vegetables and salads by our vegetable slicer machine. The Hostel also has a recreational center, Barbershop & Salon.
