Very clean compound, well secured and it also has nice sitting areas. You can be lucky enough to meet with warthogs and remember Animals have a right of way inside there. There’s a restaurant and a gift shop and also you can find the payment offices for the National Park, Animal Orphanage and Safari walk as all their gates are located here.
I really enjoyed just relaxing on the seats and enjoying the nature around.

Been sitting in front of a zebra that cannot stand up for the last 2 hours in Amboseli National Park.
Our guide called Kenya Wildlife Service, the ones in charge of the park, for several times. Fist they would take 10 mnts, then 15, now the doctor is not available, and in the meantime the zebra is just here, bleeding from its nose and not able to walk, in the middle of the road.
What exactly are the rangers here for? We are maximum 20' away from their campsite.
Shameful.
