This place is generally very relaxing at a nice distance from Nairobi hassle. However your experience depends largely on the other guests. We had the bad luck of having a large group of Dutch tourists screaming at the top off their lungs in the tent next to us at five am making it a little difficult to get a proper rest. The food is good though and there are many games to play. Perfect for a summer camp type situation.

This place is awesome! I stay here regularly during my travels between Zanzibar and Kenya and quite frankly refuse to stay anywhere else! Management and staff are always polite, helpful and courteous. The rooms/tents are always clean, so are the shared washrooms. I also always arrange my airport transfers with them and have never had to wait for their drivers. Always on time and friendly and courteous. Love this place and highly recommend to all! :)

The Wildebeest does it all! A friendly secure haven to explore Nairobi or as a base for wildlife safaris. They provide tourist accommodation catering for all budgets in a range of chalets and tents. Well maintained outdoor swimming pool, games, restaurant, beautiful gardens and a gentle relaxing atmosphere. We love it!

I had great fun in this campsite. Way better than a hotel and cheaper. There is wonderful complementary breakfast and a bar serving drinks and beverages all day into the night.

The place is extremely cozy and serene, it is ideal for a romantic getaways, family camping and ground camping. It is in a secure location in Nairobi suburbs. It offers deluxe tents with bathrooms, garden tents with shared bathrooms and dorm tents with shared bathrooms. It is especially Ideal for non residents looking for a rustic experience

Initially gave this place a great review because it's one of a kind and the place is amazing. But honestly the reception staff sucks! They are useless especially the older guy at night shift, he sometimes get on day shift, ask him anything and he was rude as hell!! As you deal with different people and they keep a tab on for you, you will end up having money arguments! Seriously, if you want to avoid the hassle, just book everything online, insist on paying the bill every night, bit of a hassle. Read all their fine print before ordering!

A peaceful and cozy place. Far from city center and there is nothing much. But you can walk 500m to the main road and catch a daladala easily. I would stay again.

Stayed over the 2016 Christmas and early Jan break pre and post a safari. Accomodation was clean and simple and well located for touring Nairobi and it's surroundings. That's the only positive I can give. For the price paid the breakfast/lunch/dinner menu is limited. The lack of a hot shower on demand and missing basic amenities like bottled water in the room for the duration of the stay is a let down to what is a well maintained, secure location.

This place was such a pleasant surprise - a tented safari camp right in the middle of a city! Its perfect for people visiting Kenya for a safari because it makes it possible to start the wild adventure from the moment you fly in. Instead of staying in some downtown hotel before starting your trip to one of the national park, you can stay here and it feels like you are already in the bush. Its quiet, lovely comfortable tented room - some are self contained. I think you can also camp on the grounds too.

Accommodations were exactly as advertised. In addition the porch is wonderful. They have better then expected dinners, the bar has reasonable prices, and the company was excellent. I would recommend this to any travelers. The only downside is the distance to major attractions, but that's an issue with all lodging in the area. The reception desk will call a reputable cab and negotiate fair rates for you for any transportation needed.
