An amazing place right in the heart of The world famous park - Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Small and intimate
Hammerkop Migration Camp is such a great place to stay. It's a small intimate camp right on the banks of the Mara River on Musiara area of Masai Mara Game Reserve. The Manager - Carmen, she's so jovial and engaging hovering over over the guest just to ensure that everything about your stay is perfect and fulfilling. The staff are always ready and at hand to server your every need. What I like most about the camp is that the game comes to you before you go for the game-drive. You watch animals right from the vision of your bed inside your tent.
What a beautiful place. The hospatility is endless and every body is so kind. We have been fall in love with the massai and mara river.
Authentic place, amazing how location for birds view, and the best location to spot the worlds big 5 animals without going farfrom the camp
Stayed here for a few days in February 2017. We were the only guests and were treated very well. A neat experience to sleep in a fancy tent and listen to the wild animals at night as they moved through the camp. Masai guards keep you safe. The food was great and we had an excellent time seeing the animals along the Mara and out on the plain. This is a camp, not a hotel nor a lodge that's fenced in. So it's not safe to wander outside at night. The tents have running water, showers, and toilets, and solar-powered lights and USB charging for phones and tablets. They also provide a higher-capacity 220v solar charger for charging camera batteries at the dining tent. But there's no wifi, no TV. Just you and the hippos. There is good cell coverage in the area, however. The tents were clean and the beds were decent.
