  I bought an iPhone 11 last year March. However, one year and 22 days down the line the iPhone stopped working. Meaning, the warranty had expired 22 days ago. I took the phone to Elite Digital Solutions, Thika Road Mall. They did a DFU restore, but the problem only aggravated as the phone failed to activate. I was referred to their service center in Peponi Plaza, Westland. There I met the most unhelpful person who never bothered to look into my problem, told me that they had informed the seller at TRM not to refer me there, and coldly told me there is nothing they could do. I was left wondering if these guys sold me a genuine iPhone for it to fail so quickly. I am completely disillusioned, so buyer beware.

  They have all Apple gadgets on show here. The staff are helpful, too. It is the go-to place cos they are the most experienced Apple centre in Kenya and all East Africa

  Shoddy workmanship: Lost and switched iPhone screws; and battery life dropped noticeably afterwards! Not to mention poor customer relations.

  Buyers should be aware that even if they develop a fault like I did (within 12 days of purchase) that Elite will not exchange or refund as they are obliged to do under Kenyan law (30 days from purchase). You can expect up to 4 weeks for delivery of parts, and if they don't fix it expect to wait the same again. For such a high value item as an Apple computer, with import tax and mark up on top, its not acceptable service at all that the customer pays for so long without having a brand new product they paid for.
