One of the best Universities in Kenya. It is well known for its high calibre in agricultural courses. It started primarily as an agricultural institution therefore it's worth considering in that field.
The only down side of the institution is the laxity of the staff in offering their services to the public.

The university is situated in rich agricultural lands with diverse trees and nice environment. some courses had issues of accreditation but probably things have been fixed.
