Scenic, especially when the river is thick with rain water. Best viewed from Blue Post Hotel and also accessed from the hotel as well, that is, the trail that leads down to the bottom of the Falls.

Beautiful falls!!! I have lived in Thika for a long time and it's just always magnificent seeing the falls. However, after recently visiting Victoria falls in Zimbabwe, the falls seems less amazing. However, there is Blue Post Hotel next to it where you can dine while viewing the falls. They also have activities for the falls.

The falls can only be accessed via Blue Post Hotel which is run down. If you are going to see the falls and plan to have a meal there plan on waiting 1 - 2 hours for your meal. The waiters provide extremely shoddy service and the food is very mediocre. One could opt for the buffet if hungry, but it is pricey and not worth the money!

TIP: Visit the falls but make plans to eat else where.

An environment with a unique combination of nature, serenity and Kenyan history all combined perfectly. There is much to see and learn. 😊😊

The place is quite serenewith the whole nature thing going on
However we had to wait for our food for almost 1 and a half hours
They didn't offer enough tomato sauce and chilli sauce such that they kept taking ours from our table
Their fried chips and roast potatoes were well cooked and tasty

Nice place to go visit with friends and family. Best times are during the rainy season since the falls thunder then and the water is clearer aiding in being able to see the slippery rocks and whirlpools.

The place has a great view. Just that. Everything else about it sucks. The service from the reception to the waiters898l0myk stinks. The only person that's happy to see you is the Watchman.

We made the nature walk and was amazing! But we did it through the stones in the river (10 times better than the normal path because is the end of dry season) and a lot of monkeys to interact with
