Place has awesome views of Lake Nakuru and the Nakuru township. They have wonderful balconies and outdoor seating spaces where one can bask in the sun. Parking is spacious and free of charge. There is lots of playing spaces for children around the parking area that can be used for bike rides. Food is not professionally done at times and menu options are limited. Their lounge area is nice and generally the place is peaceful. Rooms are well done with privacy taken well into account.

The management needs to work on getting the food menus and cooking right to attract families and guests for lunch at such a strategically located hotel.

The swimming pools are not so clean, poorly maintained, you see dirty water and sand beneath. The hotel though has very nice views to Nakuru Town as it is elevated. The hotel may be ideal for group bookings, plan to take meals there as a group booking, individual orders may be slow. Big compound, spacious parking, and swings for children. The bouncing tarpouline is also available for children.

Nice view and descent location, OK breakfast, but shabby, unkept rooms/ bathrooms and interior design definitely requires a lot of professional attention. Add to this pretty poor service, dirty pool and also their bar is a joke.

i traveled from Nairobi to Nakuru just to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Capital Hill lodge was a really calm and chilled out place, with a great view of Nakuru. The swimming pool was large enough though salty but all good.The staff was really attentive and i would love to visit the place again.

The place has a very beautiful view of the lake, great infrastructure. But the service is extremely poor. Sat for almost two hours without even a drink, washroom facilities lack essentials. Reception very unhelpful about rates, lack of courtesy. For such an esteemed place, the number of people on Christmas is a handful. Seems the poor reputation has been spread around.

Food arrived very cold, as if it was from the fridge. To make matters worse, when we complained, the rest of the food - roast meat was just dipped in hot oil and came dripping with fat.
