Very often, it is the staff that makes the difference in a restaurant, especially when this is part of a branded chain. So, in this case, thumbs up to the very competent and polite personnel of BigSquare on James Gichuru Road.

Best fast food in Nairobi. Nicely blackened fish fillet in the burger and everything from the fries to fried chicken is always cooked hot and fresh.

Spent a few hours here to escape traffic and was pleasantly surprised. They have a good and affordable breakfast menu and good ribs (should lunch time find you there). The ambiance is good with wi-fi access and charging ports all over the place so you can get some work done without worrying about the battery. I enjoyed it and I will visit it again for the ribs!
