  Under the scorching heat of Mombasa, Baharini shopping center presents a welcome distraction. It offers a variety of things to choose from, be it you are an African artifacts fan, or wines, or just sit somewhere and have drinks.

  This is my favorite shopping area south of Mombasa. Chandarana is the largest food and sundries market left in Diani, I enjoy the food at Havana (a Cuban-themed restaurant with wood fired oven) and you can find ATMs, tourist services and beach clothing boutiques and gift shops in the center. Across the street are hair salons and barbers, another excellent restaurant called Kokkos, a naturopathic pharmacy and harware stores.
