Wonderful place. Fresh wholesome bread baked as you watch. The panini and tea were excellent!!! Wow!
Most tastey bread in Kenya. Love it! They have gluten free options too.
My chicken focaccia was burnt, smh 😐 but I loved the place
Excellent lunch, friendly service and sourdough you come back for again and again.
4stars because the bread is amazing. Nice place to grab a cup of coffee. Don't spend your money on the snacks/bittings 😖. Buy excellent Gouda cheese from next-door instead 😋
Had. A wonderful time at brood Kenya and purchased a fresh backed bread with a great taste and variety having both brown and white on the total magadi road off magadi ro a d. Will recommend this to all great tasty bread at affordable prices.
Great pastries service isn't the best though. Their employees as far as cashier and waiters/waitresses isn't the best. (Their Magadi rd brunch that is).
Tasty freshly baked bread & pies. Worth stopping by when on magadi road.
brood offering whole breads and other healthy dishes. you also.get a variety of mature cheese .good service for everyone
I'm not too crazy about bread but I love sandwiches and new experiences. Bbrood was a welcome experience and the smell of freshly baked bread was very comforting. My mom loved their brown bread with lotsa stuff in it (I forgot the name of the bread,,but it's the authentic stuff that ought to be in healthy brown bread. What we've been consuming is a hoax 😐).
Their coffee was standard: which means it's good because Kenya is the land of the finest coffee in the world and Kenyans generally love a good cuppa. I'll be coming back with a better review of their sandwiches and other delicacies as soon as I am back there!
Unless you get their baked goods straight out of the oven, by evening they've gone hard and quite far from fresh. Their manager is quite helpful though, and very accommodative to customers. Their portions are also quite small, considering the price.
Brood is my favourite cafe/bakery in Nairobi. The quality of their bread, cakes and coffee is exquisite. I thoroughly recommend a visit to one of their bakeries.
Great pastry with nice service. The bread is fresh because it is baked in house. Worth giving it s try for their selections.
Great pastries, relaxing atmosphere, top-notch service!
I love their pastries but they're a bit expensive in my opinion. The entrance is wheelchair accessible though.
I was there about a month ago and wasn't impressed. My companion ordered the hot chocolate and a chicken pie. It appears they use chocolate syrup which did not appeal to my companion. It also left a bad aftertaste. The chicken filling was tasty but the pie was mostly pastry and a dollop of chicken filling in the middle. Not value for money at all. I had a Caffè latte which was average. I decided to try their samosas. I mistakenly ordered vegetable samosas instead of meat samosas which was entirely my fault. I took a bite and did not love it. It was quite greasy. I asked if I could return the other samosa which I had not touched. They said it would not be possible as they are sold in pairs. I ended up giving away the untouched samosa to an askari. I hear their bread is quite good and perhaps I will give it a try one of these days. I will however stick to Art Café, Newscafe and java for meals
