•Room condition : good
•Amenities : very good (I loved the mosquito repellent cream so much.)
•Staff service : very friendly (they wiped my dusty luggage while my other safari accommodations didn't.)
•Food : Hmmm
•Shower : good water pressure and hot water
•Wifi : good at the restaurant area but almost didn't work in my room/ Data didn't work at the lodge premises
•Pool : good enough
•Atmosphere : overall good

First time staying here and loved it, small (only 5 tents) and quiet and peaceful. Brilliant staff, lively food and lovely location by the river. We thought staying outside the park might cause a problem but was not an issue.

Amazing experience! My husband and I stayed only one night, but we experienced so much! From our room we saw elephants, hippo, lions, hyenas and more!
We only dipped our feet in the pool as we were too tired from our safari day. (We we’re up since 5:00!)
Lunch, dinner and breakfast were delicious and the staff were so friendly.
Int he morning when we were getting ready in our room, the cleaning lady knocked on our door and rushed up to our balcony to see that there were 3 Lions walking by. Very thoughtful!
Ground were clean and loved seeing all the monkeys running around.response / report this review -

From my bed (in a tent), I could see elephants. Amazing. Lots more to see from the pool as animals head to the watering hole. You can also go stand and watch the watering hole, even at night (we saw a bit of lion/ elephant drama). The tents are very comfortable, the grounds are lovely, and we quite enjoyed the attentive staff and good food at the restaurant.

The room was too humid, I could hardly sleep. There was too little water available in the rooms considering how humid tsavo is. There food was too average for a place as Ashnil Aruba lodge. Their cakes were not so great, quite disappointing really , however, their mousse was awesome.
Regardless, I had a nice time considering the beautiful view on display.response / report this review -

It was an amazing experience. The ambience,hospitality,game drives,entertainment. When you want to hide yourself and get a peaceful break,I recommend Ashnil Aruba.

WOW WOW WOW! I cannot express how FREAKING AMAZING this place was! We got there at around 8pm which is generally not normal. As soon as we got there our bags were taken to the reception, we were given some apple juice and warm-wet towels to freshen up our hands. Checking in was pretty quick and off we were to the rooms. Also, the service received from the staff was EXCEPTIONAL! They treated us with so much respect, love & laughter.
The bathroom was stellar! It had everything I forgot to pack. Towels, shampoo, bath gel, moisturizer AND mosquito repellent! Water was pretty hot too.
My brother broke something in the bathroom that night and literally the next day after breakfast it was fixed.
Food was excellent too, they have a chef whose worked in several renowned places. The chef is there in every meal making sure YOU are satisfied. Keep it up!! Loved the king fish & roasted turkey. Oh and that funny seafood soup.The butter is also PURE. REAL BUTTER!
Most importantly - Their pillows were to DIE FOR! I even asked to buy them :D
All in all, if I'm going to Tsavo East again, will DEFINITELY return to this place!!!response / report this review -

Great serene environment in the heart of Tsavo East.You will love the food and the bliss it provides in the middle of nowhere.Whether on a family trip,conferencing or holiday with a loved one,this is the place to be.

So far this place is awesome, their food awesome the service top notch.. Henry,joan john, Irene, patrick(pastry chef) those cakes are a must have always fresh, the two young men at the pasta and grill section lunch and dinner you made our stay worth it. Ashnil aruba any day loved it loved it. We were there two nights but it was awesome slept in tent 405 the tents are amazing the view breathtaking.everyone is so friendly

The place comes alive when they are have enough guests. Decent food and souvenir shop, a swimming pool and decent rooms. Not much of a view thought. The best part about this Ashnil is its location next to the Aruba dam. Bang in the middle of lion country.

Beautiful setting but with the dry season gone the wildlife had moved away. Many bugs so be prepared with insect repellent. Could improve the meals

I Loved the the staff who are very friendly. They offer good food. The rooms well kept. And you dont have to go for game drives because the animals are always spotted at Tbe Aruba dam.
