Wonderful place to get away from it all. The pool/dining area is very peaceful and relaxing. The wait staff and other hotel staff are very friendly. Definitely a 5 Star hotel.

Serene environment, cool breeze from the Mt. Kenya forest. However, this part of Meru town can be too cold in the evenings. Request for room heating or carry warm clothing.

In my view, this is the finest boutique hotel in Meru town. It's located in a quiet residential area just behind the main town mall.
The rooms are clean and well appointed with the quality fittings and fixtures. I especially enjoyed the ambience of the dining area and the warm service.
Surprisingly, their medium rare sirloin steak is my favourite on the menu. I had my reservations at first but the chef really knows how to work the meats.response / report this review -

Amazing!! Got a chance to spend two years here: 31st Dec 2017 to 1st Jan 2018. Great service!! Beautiful view from our room! Would come here any time! Thanks Gabriel for the great cocktails!!

I had a fantastic time with my family here last week. The kids loved swimming and jumping on the bouncing castle & trampoline! We loved the food, the rooms, the linens, the service .we just loved it. It was our second time here and we’ll for sure do this again. We recommend it unreservedly.

Impressive. The pride of Meru county, set in a quiet area of the town. I was completely wowed by this place, not to mention the meals. You can host staff lunches or dinners here. The hotel staff was very hands on and friendly. Great spot for swimming when the sun is out, all for a price worthy of the grandeur.

Spent a night here. Very nice hotel. Clean rooms. Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff (I had an infant and they made food for her at 11 in the night) the decor is stunning! I loved everything about it try the Atmosphere Bar. It had an interesting wine list and I carried a bottle to keep up the memory of a good night here. The barman knows his business. Dress warmly if you plan to stay at the bar late. Meru gets cold at night

Alba is a really nice place to stay in Meru Town. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the food is well prepared and reasonably priced. The staff in the dining room was a bit slow to respond to requests when we visited.
