Ever green. The sight of leopards, elephant, buffaloes, and a host of chirping birds is one to be experienced. Words and pictures can only tell half the story. The road from Nairobi to Nyeri via the coffee and tea estates is excellent (but narrow) and the greenery is like no other in Kenya.

With wonderful natural indigenous forest, the view is breathtaking. The various waterfalls are just amazing the watch. The tricky landscape gives you a challenge to subject your body to exercise. After visiting the place, you will surely come out having lost several calories.

As a tourism student, I advise any one who is seeking for a place to spend his time to visit aberdare National Park. One can see beautiful scenery, hike, have game drive, swim and do bird watching.
It also has accommodation facilities where one can spend his or her time as well as have meals. Lodges like the ark and tree top are commonly known by tourists.

Exiting park with lovely animals and vegetation. Had fun looking for some elusive game like the leopard and elephants. Be sure to get information on where to pay the entrance fees for some of the park's entrance gates (I'm not sure if all gates) do not pay points and you may be forced to turn back. Carry warm clothing if you intend to sleep within the park.

The Park is a very nice place to visit Animals and the great nature in the Highlands with a lot of Waterfalls. We stayed at the Fishing lodge with all the Antilopes, Elephants and Waterbuck close to the House.

Every national park has a sweet story to it. Densely populated and also cold for being so close to Mt Kenya. Here is home to elephants and buffaloes. If lucky you can spot the black leopard. For Fishing lovers you can enjoy catching the small trouts which are very delicious. Recommended for adventurous souls.
