Totally unacceptable behaviour from the owner of this establishment. Four of us found cockroach and little worms in our soups and main meals. Keep off this place unless you have a good medical cover and or a strong gut.
Wondering what the rave on this restaurant is about. Food is just okay and nothing to write home about. Found a bug in my soup which was explained away as "being because of the natural environment". I'll take an unnatural environment any day as long as my soup comes without the vermin garnish :( So dissapointed.
Good food, but pricey for the casual foodie
Harold and Rose are the best. Best food in Nairobi. So worth the drive!
Quiet time pace with a serene environment, the food is good, on a scale of five I would rate their food a three, they have excellent services, the food however takes quite a while to be prepared. This was covered for though with many chefs’ compliments. The only other thing lacking is music
5 star dining experience with an amazing ambience. Great selection on the menu with first rate service.
This an excellent restaurant serving gourmet meals, matching it with the best wines from around the world to give the guest an amazing dining experience !
The host/owner is an amazing chef !
Adds a hidden 10% fee on top of the already expensive bill and can’t seem to explain what it is for :(
Excellent Food and Service
Nice restaurant tucked away from the city. The meals are awesome and good selection of wine which is excellently paired with meals.
Cozy secret. Very good selection of foods. The chef worked in the San Francisco / LA area and makes terrific food. The vibe isn't for everyone (no marble floors or gold lined railways like if it was a Serena hotel--some people dig that) but the food is easily the best in Nairobi by a mile. The portions are well thought out (you won't be needing to get anything packed but it will leave you full). It is definitely more expensive than other restaurants around the Nairobi area (Appetizers around 1.5k, main courses around 3.5k, desserts around 1.1k a piece -- prices in Shillings) but well worth it.
Its a very nice place ever u can have dinner under the stars n moon
Nice place to eat and relax
8 hours later, having come for lunch, staying for dinner and trying most of the dishes on the menu, I can say this is arguably Nairobi's best Restaurant. A bit pricey but the food is amazing!
Good food and nice ambiance. Service also top notch!
Terrific joint. The food never disappoints. Nice place to eat and relax.
