This old hotel is for foreigner. But it can't deny that the service, dinner and environment are excellent. Onsen area was not that good, looked old and not clean.

Great place!!! Traditional style hotel with onsen and great food. Also addapted for vegan and kosher!!!! It could not be better

I need more than 5 stars! Such high quality with everything! Rooms, service, food, onsen, views, surrounding countryside. The best of the best. I have never been anywhere more perfect!

Don't judge this traditional Japanese ryokan by its exterior. Staff and service are superb, food prepared for you are above and beyond in quality and the hot springs itself is extremely satisfying. They also work the water into drinkable water as well as ingredient for their dishes.

Not cheap, but definitely worth it. The food was excellent, and the rooms comfortable. They might need a bit of a redecoration in the corridors, though

Excellent all round. Good hot baths, comfortable rooms, and an excellent evening meal and breakfast. Evening star-gazing activity laid on for free. Friendly and helpful staff. English understood and spoken by many staff.
