Cons: I agree with everyone else who says ask for a room close to the elevators otherwise you're in for a very long walk!
More variety/quality in the breakfast buffet. For example the sausages are def below average. Ditto bacon bring chewy not crispy and just doesn't taste like bacon from home
Walls are a bit thin. I could hear people in the room next to me very clearly.
A bit far from hirafu & exciting slopes. You have to take 2 lifts+ to get there.
Hairdryers are terrible! Like something out of the 90s. Bring your own.
Pros: great ski locker & ski in ski out set up. There are lockers downstairs on your way out to the slopes. Just grab your gear and walk straight outside and you will got a ski lift within 5 metres.
Breakfast buffet choices could improve but it's so convenient and has nice view of slopes.
Very relaxing views outside of the restaurant and the onsen was wonderful.response / report this review -

Had an overall average experience at the Green Leaf.
If you purchase a Niseko United pass don't expect to be able to move across all mountains - due to weather conditions the top lifts are sometimes closed.
We arrived around 10pm to check in and the restaurants were shut. There were limited choices in terms of restaurants and food so had to drive back to Grand Hirafu main street to grab dinner.
The rooms are pretty average, seems more like a motel than hotel as they offer only one key to open the door.
The staff were so-so, don't think they were too friendly or welcoming (especially in the ski shop).
The only thing I liked about this place is the Onsen.
It is an 'ok' place to learn to ski/snowboard for beginners as most of the slopes are flat and village is small.
If I were to choose a ski in/out accommodation I'd probably prefer the Hilton or Grand Hirafu in terms of choice of food, shopping and longer opening hours.response / report this review -

The green leaf is a quality ski in ski out resort that met all my needs. It boasts beautiful views of the slopes from the lounge and bar area and also has a convenient shuttle bus service to get around outside and inside the village. The staff are also wonderful and friendly people always smiling and willing to help. Sanga and Yun in particular assisted me greatly in suggesting dinner reservations and booking activities over my stay. I will definitely be visiting again! Hopefully more snow next time!"

We had such a fabulous time. Perfect for the family. Ski slopes and lots of snow, right outside the door!! Can't wait to go back.

Thoroughly enjoyed my week there. Clean & comfortable. Good food and a friendly staff. Sarahm & Mun at the bar really went the extra mile to provide Superior service.
