Place is pretty good, but the building is old. I stayed in the highest floor which was 9th floor which have a private onsen bathtub with a super great sea view in morning and sunset. The only new innovation is in 8th and 9th floor. Other floors are old.

The staff is very very nice and welcome you and come outside the hotel and help you to carry your luggage. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel and very convenience.

Not sure I have mistakenly saw that there is cockroach, but there was a insect that found on my shank when I try to see the night view in night beside the bathtub (because the window are all open). I want to give 5 star score, but 1 star is deduced by this case.

Very good value. Staff are kind, dining hall is spacious, and the location is pretty much the closest you can get to the beach. Hotel has been around for a while but was renovated in the past year or two. Can't think of a better deal in the area.

I've been working at this Hotel for 6 months in 1996, and it was one of the best time of my life. I miss badly the people of Shirahama, their nice way of welcome and treatment, and principally the friends I left there.
A perfect place in the world to live in, or at least visiting for a week.
