朱色の門の色がはがれ、苔が生えた門が年月の流れを感じさせ、美しかった。手入れの行き届いた日本庭園も美しいお寺です。

MBSテレビ「ロケみつ　稲垣早希の西日本横断ブログ旅」で、早希ちゃんが投入堂登山後でさらに旅資金も貰えず、心身ボロボロの状態のときに一夜の宿を提供してくださった、あの感動場面の舞台となった宿坊です。宿坊にはその写真も飾ってあります。
