The hotel was very nice. It has a Japanese style setup with futons for beds. The location is near downtown as well as a river with a good view. Many restaurants are available nearby. The service was also excellent and never bothered or interfered with our activities.

Traditional tatami mat rooms. They set up your futon for you the first night. The location is not too hard to find, though my group got it confused with the more premium ryokan nearby. They clean your daily and take care of you here.

Staffs are nice and helpful. And the Japanese breakfast is good. Rooms are Japanese style tatami and are a bit old and small but I am fine with it. Remember to try the yummy Omi beef restaurant near this hotel.

Japanese style hotel. If you want to experience tatami, this hotel is recommended. Also has public bathroom.

Awesome, traditional Ryokan with nice rooms and staff. Located right near the Imperial Palace and about 10 to 20 minutes walk from just about everything else.

Wonderful hotel, amazing rooms and very nice staff. Cleaned my room every day, and always provided a nice snack in the morning. Had a hot springs, as well as great amenities, and WiFi wasn't too bad. Only complaint was the night staff had nearly no English skills, but the daytime staff did, so try to get there not too late if you can only speak English.
