Beautiful garden with a fantastic view over Kyoto just at the bamboo forest. Because of the entrance fee of 1000 yen (autumn 2018) its not crowded at all. Green tea is included in the fee.

This is a great thing to do if the rest of the park and bamboo groves are very crowded. This was a nice quiet walk and we enjoyed the tea.

The view is amazing. Besides that, be prepared for a peaceful walk, combo’d with the opportunity to draw some Japanese Shodo calligraphy.

The ¥1000 entrance fee pay off especially when the bamboo grove is full of people. This way you can actually experience the peace and quiet of the garden.

입장료가 비싸긴하지만 맛있는 말차를 제공함. 봄 벚꽃시즌 또는 가을 단풍시즌에 오면 진짜 예쁠듯.

Entry price 1,000 Yen is a bit high but you will see very beautiful garden and scenery. Wear shoes suitable for hiking. Entrance fee includes a cup of green tea and snack. Enjoy it after your walk.

Feel the oxygen power in OhkouchiSansou, even scattered small fallen leaves on the grass look beautiful as if by enchantment intentionally. Admission fee ¥1,000 as of 14/11.
