  現状では 北陸新幹線(金沢～上越妙高～東京) 北陸本線(金沢～米原) IRいしかわ鉄道線経由で 七尾線(金沢～津幡～七尾)の列車が 「JR金沢駅」に乗り入れる。このうち北陸新幹線敦賀延伸時に敦賀～金沢が第三セクターに経営分離されることが決定している。七尾線はどうなるのでしょうね…
