I think it's legit to have high expectation with that much price (6000 yen/person).
The beef quality was awesome but something was lacking in overall taste. I like Sukiyaki so had them in different places and countries but it is hard to say that this is the best out of those.
The vegies were not enough to eat with beef and to me, the sweetness of Sukiyaki was too high for me.
My review might sound too negative but don't get me wrong as this place has nice private room which gives you a nice traditional vibe of Japan and overall pleasant experience but I was focusing too much on the taste.

Has good sets with an easy way to try many Kyoto local dishes. However, some of the dishes were not particularly memorable.

As a solo traveller, "it's often difficult to find places to eat, without being looked at by other people" if that's you, then this is the perfect place! You get a room by yourself! Doesn't mater if you are here a a group or by yourself, you still get your own room ^^
The beef is Kyoto beef, very nicely marbled, and the waitress here are so lovely and professional, and they will cook the meat for you, so no fuss at all.
The price is on the higher end, but for dinner, with an atmosphere and service like here, it's a good deal!response / report this review -

AMAZING Sukiyaki food. The quality of the beef was superb, the service was impeccable and traditional. They only have private rooms, so bring as many friends as possible. They are extremely accommodating. The food is a bit expensive ($60 for 1 Sukiyaki dish) but there was plenty to eat, I became totally full! I love this place!

스키야시랑 샤브샤브 파는 집이예요. 둘다 일인분에 6000엔. 스키야시 먹었는데, 이렇게 맛있는 스키야시는 처음이네요. 직원분들도 넘 친절하고, 처음 먹을건 직원분이 다 해줘서 먹기만하면 되요.
