Need to reach here by car and it was one hour drive from the closest highway exit. We stayed at the cottage and it good place for families and group of people who want to do outdoor stuff. These are in the kind of forest, if you wish to stay at ocean view room, pick the hotel room, not the cottage.
If you want to escape from bustle of big cities, this is a pretty good place.response / report this review -

Stayed here for two days to sucessfully escape the heat and bustle of Kyoto before carrying on to more heat and bustle in Tokyo. Definetly a recommended destination for non-Japanese tourists with some basic cultural understanding of the country.
The hotel is very modern, comfortable and clean. Incredible view from the panoramic window over water, islands and hills. Western style rooms make for impressive sunset watching from the bed. The staff are very helpful and English is spoken at the front desk. Most important information is in English as well.
In addition to various inside and outside pools and hot tubs, there are two quiet beaches in 5 minutes walking distance. Boats can be rented but are expensive. All you can eat Buffet dinner is offered and of fair quality, albeit pricey. The hotel is somewhat isolated but can be reached by train and shuttle from Kyoto - we rented a car but could have done without that stress!

Away from hustle bustle, so quiet & calm with green of vegetation & blue of sea & sky. Ideal to refresh and get away from all the stress
